Story
Kane FM provides a platform for new musical talent and works towards breaking down barriers within the community. It does this by engaging people through the medium of music. As a not-for-profit community organisation, Kane needs your help to fund the running of the station. Kane FM is a unique community radio station mostly run by volunteers. Kane FM addresses inclusion and engagement of people young and old, some with special needs, by encouraging them to join in, even if only listening.

I would like to send a massive thank you and big ups to all those who have donated to our crowdfunding. This means we can pay some bills and the radio can continue for a bit longer to be a music platform for the community, work experience for young people and wicked sounds for our listeners. We hope to keep serving the community for yet another 5 years, we aren't out of the woods yet, but with continued community support such as this we have every chance. Thank you again xxx

I have been involved with Kane from Pirate to licence. Kane is the perfect platform for young people to gain experience in radio and DJ skills. I am passionate about keeping this station on air so that the local community can benefit either as listener or participant.
