Story
I am fundraising for research into cutaneous and renal glomerular vasculopathy (CRGV or ‘Alabama rot’) this is a serious disease which has only recently been recognised in dogs in the UK. It causes lesions on the skin and in the mouth, which can look like sores. Some dogs go on to develop life-threatening kidney failure and any dog is at risk. The disease has been under investigation by Anderson Moores Veterinary Specialists for 3 years but more funding is vital to facilitate further research.
