Story
Be Me project was started in 2014. We saw a need in secondary schools for girls with low self esteem. Self harm, eating disorders, depression are just a few of the issues we see each and every day. The programme enables girls to recognize that they are uniquely and wonderfully made and encourages them to thrive in life. We now run the project in our local community as well - equipping woman of all ages. We are raising money to grow the project and help as many girls and women as we can.

8 years agoWell, I did it; official time was a few seconds short of 5 hrs 50 mins - this included one puncture from hitting a pothole; so cycling time was around 5 hrs 30 mins. I was the very last cyclist to be let through when they closed off the ride for the air ambulance, which is a relief as many had the route changed and were delayed. Astonishingly, I actually spotted Mary S, Marie C and Lu M. In Dorking the PA chap had been briefed by Lu M that I was coming through and I actually heard him make an announcement as I swept past - really encouraging
