Story
As a voluntary Community First Responder, I get sent ahead of the ambulance to 999 calls in Braunton and surrounding area. The NHS supply a basic life support kit but there is a need for other equiptment.

I joined the Community First Responder scheme in June this year. It has been a very rewarding job. I am regularly called out (day and night) to people in distress with chest pains, respiratory difficulties, abdominal pain and people who have fallen etc.
