I'm the UK Nominee to a prestigious World Autism Community Achievement Award, with ANCA, Naturally Autistic People Awards. The award ceremony where I find out if I win, will take place at the ANCA World Autism Festival in Canada, Vancouver in September 30th 2016.

I was nominated thanks to my Autism Activist work; Motivational Speeches, Positive Role Modelling for Autistic people, and training for professionals. Due to my dedication for raising an understanding of Autistic Disorders, I have enabled Autistic people to realise the gift within their disability & strive towards their full potential; while creating understanding of hidden hardships & quirks.

Words can't describe the emotional whirlwind as the understanding dawned that I had been nominated for this Award. The hyperventilation, the tears of utter joy that poured down my face. I finally realised that I am not worthless, like my bullies would like me to believe; but that I am making real change for the autistic community. The thought of attending the World Autism Festival, learning & being inspired at the world leading experts and inspiring people, is mind blowing.

During the World Autism Festival, I will be doing a speech, presenting awards & workshops on the World Stage to 1000 people; educating & working with world leaders, Autism professionals & those who have Autism. I will become a true champion; from personal lived experience, to expertise gained from world leading Autism experts. Attending would enable me to achieve my dreams of my Autism Activism being without limits.
