Recently our best mate Shaun McKinley was diagnosed with a rare cancer called Sarcoma. Since the diagnosis Shaun and his family have been through so much in such a short time.

As a group of Shaun's friends we plan to raise money for Shaun and his family through this very difficult time by undertaking the 3 peaks challenge (https://www.threepeakschallenge.uk/national-three-peaks-challenge/) in August. The challenge involves climbing Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon in 24 hours, which will be particularly difficult for a bunch of over-the-hill novice hikers ('the hairy hikers'). Nonetheless, this is nothing compared to the challenge our mate is up against.

As a group of friends we have grown up together (+20 years) through the good times and some bad. However, the friendships and support is everlasting and we will see Shaun through this stage in his life. We love you mate.

A percentage of the money raised will be donated to Sarcoma cancer charity.
