Story
Just Trade collaborates with artisans around the world to create stylish, desirable handmade jewellery. Founded in 2006.
The point of fair trade is that it is trade not aid... however due to the exceptional and unprecedented scale of the current situation in Ecuador following the earthquake, we have set up a Just Giving page. Immediate needs are to pay for an electricity generator, food, water and clothing for those who lost everything. We are looking to raise £1000.

8 years agoWe have been overwhelmed by your kindness! The food packages were packed last night and arrived in Sosote this morning. Due to the generous donations we have received, we have organised for weekly food packages to be sent to the village as long as is needed.

8 years agoThank you all so much for your very generous donations so far. With the money raised Laura has been able to buy a generator and has sent it back to Sosote with Ronald (pictured above, far right). This will provide much needed power for our artisans.
