Youngsters from disadvantaged backgrounds, be it through life-threatening medical conditions, life-limiting medical conditions, disability or extreme social problems can be excluded from school trips and family holidays due to the lack of technical equipment and the high cost of being accompanied by a Paediatric Doctor and Nurse, helpers, carers and specially trained ski guides.. These children should be given the same opportunities as their able bodied friends.
