    Story

Billy is a litte boy, now nearly 11 years old. He was sent home to die by the clinicans at RVHB, age 8mths old. Billy suffers from intractable epilipsy and status epilipticus. We couldnt give up on him, we reasearched and found a doctor in America who said he could help. The cost £250,000.00. We launched a mammoth fundraising campaign and raised the much needed funds. The doctor saved Billys life. While in the states the doctor recommeneded we get Billy into intense Physio Therapy and see what we could tease out of Him, Billy had 20hrs of Physio per week for 2 years in the states. The physio team taught him how to hold his own head, sit, crawl , stand and walk. A miracle

Nearly 9 years on , sadly Billys seizures have returned. We have tired to go down every avenue to get Billy urgently reviewed by an expert, in his condition, an Epiltolgist and to access the nessary diagnostics and life saving treatment that Billy needs urgently, UK and EU But to no Avail, due to long waiting list 6/9mths. Billy does not have that time.

It si hear breaking watching the seizures take over hs wee body, they leave him completly depleted. Billy is already starting to show regression, his mouth muscles are becoming very weak and his rght eye is starting to turn in slightly, this is the damge that the seizures can do if not treated urgently. I really fear he will loose all he has learnt, or a seizure will take his wee life.

After much thought we have decided to take Billy back to the States to Dr.Nordli. We know if Billy has any chance of survivl he is the man to help. Billy could also be canditate for surgery. The estimated cost, £300,000.00.

Every penny counts, no matter how littel, please help us Keep Billy Alive. Thank you in advance.
