Back in September last year I was suprised if not a little shocked to receive a magazine through the letter box saying I had a place in the London marathon . Once the news had sank in, it was now time to get my running gear back on after a very lazy summer . My aim was to be running 10 miles by Christmas and have been gradually increasing the distance weekly and was delighted to complete my longest run of 21 miles only last week .
Many of you have asked if I am running for a charity, from the start I wanted to raise money for the wonderful school I work at called Breakspeare school that helps children with learning difficulties.
Any donations will go towards specialist play equipment for our amazing students.
