Story
We are friends coming together to try to help the refugee crisis in Calais anyway we can. We have access to a large network of people that can help us and we really want to make it happen. We know we cannot solve the problem on our own but feel that if everyone does whatever they can then it will make a difference to the people.

9 years agoMorning everyone This will be a quick message of gratitude before go to work. What started off as a one time effort as turned into something much bigger. While the initial response was just about Calais it has become clear that we need to refocus our attention to include the Dunkerque camp. We have friends that have just returned from there and tell us that they are in need of basic sanitary facilitities and shelter. People are arriving there daily and they do not have enough help on the ground. During this crowd funding run time we have been collecting donations, selling juice, doing talks and arranging beneift gigs (coming up at The castle in February) and made friends within The castle community. We are keen to get the second shipment over to those that need it and will be sorting and labeling and packing next Thursday (help needed). This money will not be released for 2 weeks but we will be investigating how best to use it and posting regularly on our FB page so keep in touch! Love

9 years ago4 days to go until the page closes. Please help us reach £1000 by sharing and donating. The first van load of donations left to Calais last week and the drop off box at The Castle is again overflowing. James returns next week and will let us know where best to direct this money.
