Story
Sherborne has had a rough time when it comes to play areas recently. Last year the park on Ridgeway was turned into a cemetery. More recently the play equipment at the Blackberry Lane park was dismantled and the council had no funds for a replacement.
Our local MP has managed to secure the majority of the funds required but the community needs to raise the last £3000.
There are other parks in sherborne but most are aimed at toddlers with very little for kids aged 8 and upwards. The Blackberry Lane site is a beautiful spot with gorgeous views over Sherborne it's a shame not to make the most of it.

The old wooden play equipment was dismantled a while ago as it was nearing the end of it's life. The local council had no funds to replace it. Our local MP has secured some funds to build a new playground but the community has been asked to raise £3000.
