Strawberry Fair is an annual free-to-enter, volunteer-run festival of music and arts in Cambridge. It's been running for over 40 years and will be taking place this year on Saturday 4th June on Midsummer Common, Cambridge.

The Kids Area has been a key part of Strawberry Fair for many years, providing a safe, fun, free place for children to enjoy themselves.

We are sad to say that Drew Park, who has been the Kids Area Coordinator since 2011, passed away at the end of April and was unable to finish the fundraising and organisation to deliver his vision of an even better, safer, funner (is that a word?) Kids Area.

A team of great volunteers have jumped in to finish the organising, but couldn't manage to pick up the fundraising needed to make this year's Kids Area the way Drew intended.

We asking you to throw in a few quid to help us pay for Zorb balls, facepainting, science, dressing up and loads more on 4th June.

We are also pleased to announce that The Kids Area has now been renamed the Kids Park in Drew's honour.

All funds raised through this JustGiving page will be ring-fenced for use in the Kids Park, whether this year or next year, to ensure that it continues to be full of free activities and laughter.
