Story
Asia (36) recently received devastating news that she has pancreatic cancer with a very poor prognosis. We set up the page to raise £500 for palliative care. Due to your amazing generosity we reached that in a day! But Asia is a fighter and she has not given up on life. She is the single parent of a 7 year-old boy, Adam, who is with her and her parents in Poland & we now wish to raise as much as we can to help her seek further treatment and to help her family to support her and care for her son

8 years agoMany thanks to everyone who's donated. Incredibly we're just a few ££ shy of 2/3 of our new target which has only been up for a few days! Asia starts chemo on Monday & Adam's looking forward to starting school in Poznan. He's on the way to being trilingual (he's learning French!)

Several years ago Asia persuaded our Project's management to apply for funding for a domestic abuse project to work with Polish families. Due to her vision & determination we now have an acclaimed service and I've had the pleasure of working alongside Asia for 2 and a half years.
