    Story

Boxing Day flooding has damaged the newly opened Open Source Arts. A team of us went down and it was shin deep when we arrived. We moved as much machinery and irreplaceable equipment up on to the first floor as possible but some things were too large or heavy. We had to leave at about 10pm as the water levels were rising and it was becoming unsafe to be there. Overnight, it rose another 1.5m causing even more damage than what can be seen in the photo which was taken when we arrived last night.

This is wonderful to see so much love in the community. Thanks for all your generosity so far. We're lucky to have such a caring network and can't wait to pass the money on to Open Source. Their fast response to the clean-up for the entire area has been positively inspiring!
