Weʼve raised £210 to Help Helen buy a garden truck to make getting to Lego club easier and greener.

Story
I run the Lego Club at Burnage library, at the moment I transport the Lego to the club by taxi (I do not drive). This is not ideal as the library is in walking distance but the Lego is too heavy to carry :(. It would be fantastic to raise around £65.00 to purchase a garden truck ( see Photo) that could be used to transport the LEGO and the crafts and refreshments etc. It would be a more cost effective and green way to travel. Any unused funds would be used for further Lego/Duplo for the club. There is no charge for the Lego club as I want it to be accessible to all members of the community. I just ask that those that can donate towards the cost of refreshments.

Thanks so much to everyone who has supported the funds. We have £220 in total as someone donated cash too.😁 I will use the funds to buy something sturdier than the pictured truck. I am.also hoping to purchase some base plates and mini figures and to male a display in the library

8 years agoThanks so much for all the very generous donations. I definitely have enough to get a truck and may think of getting an even sturdier/larger one so it will last even longer. I will keep the page open for the full month and any extra cash will be used for further resources. :)
