I'm running the Loch Ness marathon to raise money to buy a defibrillator and I need your help!

I'm the local councillor for Leith Walk and I was trying get £1,500 together so that I can provide the area I represent with this essential, life saving piece of kit. I have now surpassed my target, but have decided to double it, with all proceeds going towards the project.

This is part of an exciting project organised by St John Scotland which will see defibrillators placed in key locations across Edinburgh.

Because of everyone's incredible generosity, I've had to double my target to £3000 as I've already passed my original target. We might not get there, but marathon running is all about going the extra mile - let's do this!
