We currently have a busy road through our village with only a few sections of on road parking and 1 pedestrian crossing. We are raising funds with a view to solving this problem by way of additional crossings, traffic lights/one way over the bridge, give way sections, 20mph speed limit etc..

Thank you to everyone who has donated towards our campaign. The money raised will be used by the 20s Plenty for Purton group for printing, advertising, fundraising events and more which will raise awareness to the campaign and help people to be more safety aware in Purton. This type of campaign is active across the country and it is going to take time for changes to be made. But if we are all working together then there is no reason why we cannot make the village a safer place for us all..from now! I have been living in Purton for 2 years with my husband and 2 children although our children have gone to the local primary school from day 1. We absolutely love living in the village and are therefore prepared to do all that we can to help make the road safer for everyone.
