Story
Former Cambridge United Goalkeeper Danny Potter and a small group of fans are planning to ride over 100 miles from Cambridge United to Mansfield Town for their last League 2 match of the season on May 7th. Setting off on Friday May 6th they intend to arrive in time for the 3pm Kick off on the Saturday and raising money for Simon Dobbin and his family.
Simon was attacked outside The Railway pub while on the way home from Southend's Roots Hall stadium on 21 March and has been left brain damaged. His family are looking to raise £20000 to help care for him. This bike ride will help raise some of that money. Please donate to support a former U's star with this fantastic gesture and help a fellow football fan
