    Story

I am raising money for the Ambulance Wish Foundation UK. This is a new charity in the UK which hopes to provide ambulances and volunteer trained staff to take terminally ill people on a journey to fulfil a final wish. On 16th-17th July I will be attempting a 100 mile ultramarathon at Samphire Hoe nature reserve near Dover. In 2008 I swam the English Channel from Samphire Hoe. If I manage to complete this challenge, I hope to be the only person to have started a successful English Channel swim and a 100 mile ultramarathon at the same place.

Please support me in this challenge and help me to raise lots of money for this amazing charity.

      Update from the Page owner

My fundraising page has now closed. I would like to thank everyone who has donated money and helped reach a total of £900 for The Ambulance Wish Foundation UK. This is way more than I expected to raise and I really do appreciate the support that each and every one of you have given. Many thanks :)

On the 17th July I managed to complete my gruelling 100 mile endurance run. It was by far the hardest thing I have ever done in my life! It took me 28 hours 42 mins, with most of it in full hot sun. Many thanks to all those that have supported me and donated to my fundraising page for the Ambulance Wish Foundation. If you have not already done so, then please give what you can for this amazing charity. Thank you

Thank you so much to all the people that have given money and supported me so far. The one's that I know I have thanked personally, but I have had several anonymous donations and I want to thank you so much for supporting this great cause. It is now just 5 days until the big day so please spread the word and help raise more money. Thanks to you all :)
