My little boy (Silver Beckham Bazira) in the picture shown has been diagnosed with a blood disorder called sickle cell disease. This is a life threatening illness as it interferes with the normal transportation of oxygen in the blood and involves a lot pain, and generally poor quality of life. In the extreme it could lead to stroke, heart failure and eventual death.

There's however a cure through bone marrow transplant. For this treatment to be achieved freely through the NHS, we would have to wait until the child goes through immense pain, a series of hospital admissions, blood transfusions and daily medication and who knows; he could die still waiting as the list is massive

To have this done privately in the UK,we require about £250,000 . However, similar treatment is offered at about £25,000 in India, so we could have this treatment which would change his life around for ever.

Your generous help and support would offer this little person a chance to live a better quality of life away from the pain and hospital visits and would give myself and our family another chance to smile again.
Every parents wish would be to give their children the basic necessities in life including health care. Unfortunately, this is not always the case; as is in my own. I would wish to be able to give my child this curative procedure but unfortunately my family and i can not afford this. Its therefore my plea that the public comes to our rescue and help us raise these funds so my little boy can have a disease free life and hopefully have the chance to live long and healthy.
