Story
Following the theft of lead from my rural 11th century local parish church (Leamington Hastings All Saints), I am attempting to walk from Land's End, Cornwall, up to John O' Groats, Scotland, in order to raise money to help fund a new roof (and for the mental health charity, Mind - see my other Just Giving fundraising page). The church is currently covered in temporary tarpaulins and coverings.
This church means a great deal to the members of our community and villages and any donations would greatly appreciated.
The new roof will be non-lead which will help prevent any future theft of the roof materials.
