Story
My former PhD student, Mahmoud Al Hirthani, stands to lose a once in a lifetime opportunity to take up a Fulbright scholarship he has worked very hard for. Given the situation in Gaza he cannot leave his family behind but the scholarship only covers his costs. We need to raise $12000 dollars to ensure they can all live together in dignity and give him and them a chance to at least take a break from the horrendous situation in Gaza. Please give generously. I can vouch for them personally and Mahmoud has worked very hard for this opportunity. You can see a summary of Mahmoud's doctoral thesis here: http://www.alc.manchester.ac.uk/subjects/tis/postgraduateresearch/past-phd-students/mahmoud-al-herthani/.
