Story
A couple of months ago, we set up Music Against Borders with a plan to collect instruments and take them over to Calais, as a start to a bigger project of using creativity and local music scenes to support and provide opportunity for migrant populations. Whilst music cannot solve the problems of migrants, it can offer empowerment and expression. Involvement in music can provide creative, social and even economic opportunities that all enable migrant peoples to build a better life for themselves

9 years agoThank you so much to everyone for supporting MAB. We're setting off tomorrow and will be updating our facebook page with our progress, so please keep an eye out there. These are a few of the instruments that we'll be collecting from Colston Hall in Bristol tomorrow, then we'll be zigzagging across the country, collecting other donations, culminating in a piano in Kent on Saturday. And then over to Calais on Sunday. Thank you again for your support!
