Story
On Wednesday 6th July 2016 tragedy struck the Campbell home. A mobile phone charger in a bedroom overheated and set the house alight.
Thankfully no one was harmed but everything upstairs suffered damage from the fire. In addition to this the water used by the fire service has seeped through the ceiling damaging the family's precious belonging downstairs.
This is not the first tragedy to strike this inspirational family. This winter, just past, this single father of 5, suffered a mini stroke then two further episodes including a cardiac event. This has resulted in long term sick leave from work. In fact on 28th June 2016 his employer terminated his employment.
Frank Campell is a pillar of his community. He volunteers four days a week teaching children and adults Karate under the umbrella of GKR Karate. Not only does he teach but he also goes above and beyond for his students offering them both emotional and physical support. He has steered many of our children away from mischief, directing their energy into something that has taught them respect, discipline, self-worth and confidence. As Frank tells all of his students "We are all equal and we can all learn from one another"
His children are a testament to his loving, caring, nature. You will find them by his side wherever he may be. Sheleka, Tamara, Celestina, Lanceford and Precious have all been devastated by the fire. Basic every day items we take for granted are no longer easily accessible. Shoes, clothes, toothbrushes and beds have all been lost in the fire.
We are seeking both financial support and household items to help this family get back on their feet.
If this family has ever supported you, please support them.
Let us show them the good that is still in the world and that even when stuck by tragedy if we support one another, anything is possible.
No act of kindness, no matter how small is ever wasted.

My life and heart was touched by this family 18months ago. Without even knowing it, they helped me learn to laugh and smile again during the most difficult time of my life. I now consider them family. So please help me to help them during their time of need.
