I need to get out doors, doing charity work and helping other people.
With electric wheelchair or mobility chair I can even go to church on Sundays and other days which I haven't been unable to do safely for the last several years. It is also difficult to me to get to the local shops and bring home the shopping.
I would love the opportunity to be able to get some work again but that won't happen without a mobility chair or a electric wheelchair.
All I can say is thank you in anticipation I cannot ask friends because I have seen no one at my home except one or two people in the last five years. Only a once a month church visit from home teachers if I'm lucky.
I also suffer from dyslexia and cataracts but I can see well enough to use of mobility chair or a electric Wheelchair safely.
As far as the Department of Work and Pensions is concerned. Blacking out in the middle of a road is not dangerous even if a bus is coming.
And NHS wheelchair services saying the blackouts mean I am not fit enough for electric wheelchair or a self-propelled wheelchair.
It would be nice to be able to get to a gym or swimming pool again.
When I had a mobility Scooter, I did Kleeneze Catalogue Deliveries, until they took away my disability allowance and the Electric Scooter.
Leaving me with Tachycardia (250+), Hypertension and blackouts to contend with.
