It usually affects young people which makes this poignant and distressing.

8 years agoWe have now reached £2,500 which is just fantastic! We shall be meeting during January and decide on the distribution of funds. However as annie is still fighting and has, remarkably, had a very good Christmas we are considering other ways we can communicate the message of Cancer treatments available outside the NHS to a wider audience. In the meantime Henry is continuing to plan his massive walk and we continue to care for Annie in the best way that we can. Many thanks to you all for your support and wishes and we hope that 2016 is good to you and that Annie continues her fight against this horrible disease. Best wishes Nick, Madeleine and the whole family

We are an ordinary family except my wife and I have had 7 fantastic children aged 34 to 14. We were not prepared for the shock and devastation that this can bring to a family. We have read and researched a lot and hope we can help similar people find a way forward.
