Story
In February 2011 Oliver had a life saving heart transplant. Whilst waiting for a heart and the during the aftercare in hospital, we were lucky enough to stay free of charge at one of the houses that the Sick Children's Trust provide to parents. Without this support we could not have stayed with Oli for the seven months we spent down at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH).
We are also raising money for the Children's Acute Transport Service who rushed Oliver down twice from hospital in Norwich to London. On the second occasion Oliver was so poorly that they spent two hours stabilizing him before transport. Again, without their help we certainly would not have Oliver here with us today.
These are two smaller charities who helped us in our time of need so it's now time to repay them through a two day cycle ride from Norwich to GOSH in London. We appreciate any donation, no matter how small and are incredibly grateful for your support.
The Wood family.
