Passing Clouds is a community music venue and arts centre that has been at the heart of Dalston’s multicultural arts movement for the last 10 years. Now the much-loved music venue is under threat from property developers Landhold Developments who attempted to illegally and forcibly evict them from the building on Thursday 16th June (video below)

We have launched a petition and a full-power press campaign to protect our beloved venue, and need to raise as much money as possible to enable us to fund our fight against the developers.

All funds raised will be spent on bringing in professional PR and legal support, printing costs, feeding and transporting volunteers and interns, getting extra security for the building, and generally pay for the costs of confronting the malignant behemoth of capitalism.

By donating to this cause and helping to protect Passing Clouds, you will be helping us win an historical victory on behalf of the arts against the corporate behemoth that threatens to destroy our industry, our livelihoods, and the heart and soul of the UK’s vibrant and diverse culture.
