The Corwen Station Project , which is entirely volunteer lead has been going for some 40 years, an ambition of the founding trustees of the Llangollen to Corwen Railway, but it is only within the last 5 years that that ambition is starting to be realised. The railway passes through some of the most spectacular scenery in North Wales - mountains, river plains and forests. We would like to share this journey with as many people as possible, but in so doing we would like them to arrive at a smart terminus which complements that of our HQ in Llangollen. A lot of the finance has come through the efforts of our railway members, volunteers, their families and supporters, some known some anonymous. If you care for the environment and our heritage then please help us complete our task. Our sympathetic restoration work has recently been recognised by the Campaign for the Protection of Rural Wales.
