    Story

As you are all aware the cost of a court appeal for a humiliating verdict in a court of law is massive. This is what this family man is now faced with after quite simply carrying out his duties an an office of the law.
PC Richard Jordan is a loving husband father and friend who recently has been through hell and back to defend the CORRECT choice made whilst carrying out his job. On the 30th March 2016 PC Jordan was found guilty of common assault. The reasoning and rational behind this verdict is not only ludicrous but also life changing.
PC Jordan works in the crime car for Cheshire police. He has been with the police force for 13 years and has thrived to serve the public and better himself in the public eye every day. He is professional, approachable, caring and more importantly in love with the job of protecting us as the public.
PC Jordan was working a job in 2015 which saw him come up against a drunk and aggressive individual which proved to be the start of a devastating chain of events. The gentleman was not only aggressive and abusive to PC Jordan but also threatening and boisterous in an environment where children were present. PC Jordan after numerous attempts to calm the situation and remove this hostile individual away from the scene failed to do so and ended up being face with a confrontation fuelled by alcohol and anger. This led to the gentleman raising his fists and looking to start a fight with the officer. At this point numerous scenarios had to be played though the officers mind on how to deal with this situation not only for his own safety but also the safety of the public and the drunk aggressive youth.
The scene ended with the use of PC Jordan's taser which instantly calmed an extremely hostile situation. The gentleman later claimed he had been assaulted and wrongfully arrested. Taking into account the use of foul language and also the pure aggression shown the method used by PC Jordan was without doubt the correct approach

No-one should have to face prosecution for just doing their job. Now that's a real crime.
