Story
My beautiful kitten Sosuke who is almost 1 year old got shot in the face with an air rifle last night, around Huntington road in York. The bullet entered just above his eye and the vets have managed to save his eye for the time being. Another cat went into the same vets this morning with the exact same wound to his eye, the other cat unfortunately has lost his eye. Please if anyone can spare a pound or two towards vet bills/a reward to catch the people responsible we would be very grateful! Thank you

8 years agoThe fund raising ends today and I'd like to thank everyone for their generous donations. We took sosuke to the vets on Sunday and after a course of steroid drops and more painkillers he doesn't need additional surgery to take out his eye which is amazing! He will always be blind, his pupil is a strange shape and he has a little scar above his eye, but he is back to his crazy self! So thank you so much 😊

8 years agoUpdate- we are going as far as we can with the fundraising as we are sharing the money with the other cat owner who also has exhaustionate vet bills. We both have check ups with the vet soon and hopefully they will make good recoveries!
