We want someone to carry on the work that Leo started. He was an integral part of our Theatre Company, coming up with ideas, characters and helping us to make great Theatre.

Thank you to everyone. We have raised enough to offer 2 years of scholarships, to 2 children, at least. We will try and go beyond this, and have one scholarship for him every year. May some good come from something so sad. We will always miss Leo, but will keep having fun, being silly, making up stories, playing joyfully and performing our shows, in his memory. 'BE MORE LION' folks. We certainly will. :-)

9 years agoThanks folks ! Rag and Bone and the Darby family are heartened and humbled by these brilliant donations. We have 2 years of 2 scholarships worth raised, plus replacement banners. We are so grateful - THANK YOU, so much. Leo would be well chuffed too :-)

I have been shocked and saddened to hear this news. I remember Leo (& Paul & Oscar!) so well from my Tinytalk classes. He was always a pleasure to have in my class. This will be a great legacy

Leo loved to come up with ideas, and help us make up great theatre. He wasn't a stage school kid, and we're not a stage school, so we fitted perfectly. We miss him, and know that he would want someone else to help us out, in his absence. Leo Darby's legacy lives on.
