Story
We are asking for your support and donations for an exciting D of E fundraising project. A hike that starts from Saint Bees on the West coast to Robin Hood's Bay on the East coast. A team of 5 girls from Wrenn Academy in Wellingborough will undertake the challenge , which will cover a grueling 190 miles in 10 days.
Our aim is to raise money for two great causes, Leukemia Research and Scope (a charity working with disabled people and their families in England and Wales).
We are planning to undertake the expedition in July 2016 , and we are hoping to gain support from every area of our community. We would really value any financial help or any contributions to the trip that you can make. the girls will be aiming for their D of E award.
We would really urge you to adopt this Coast to Coast Challenge - we are supporting two great causes as well as gaining our D of e award and your support for us would be invaluable.
With sincere best wishes,
Sarah EarL
PE Teacher & DofE Manager Wrenn Academy

What a great bunch of girls I met at the Pemberton Centre. They are bright, determined and totally confound anyone who thinks young people are idle, selfish and tech-y obsessed.
