Weʼve raised £120 to Charter a ferry

    Story

Thousands of asylum seekers are arriving on Greek islands close to Turkey. They arrive with nothing and are living in extreme deprived conditions. Extra ferries will help to alieve the crowded conditions and help to improve the conditions for those fleeing the war in Syria. The individuals unable to afford the regular ferry tickets are forced to remain or again attempt to make death defying sea journeys as they try to make their way to mainland Europe.

We didn't quite make the amount needed to charter a ferry, so I will send a cheque to British Red Cross. Thanks very much to all who supported and believed in this appeal. We tried and that is all we can do. Thanks.
