We are a non profit making community organisation based in County Durham , fundraising in the hopes of taking 10-12 students and instructors on a once in a lifetime trip to Japan to learn from the masters of our art ( shotokan karate ). Japan is the homeland of karate and specifically Okinawa is the birthplace of our particular art of SHOTOKAN karate . Our students are all from low income environments and our instructors work tirelessly as volunteers, dedicating their time and money to help , teach and encourage their students to do the best and be the best they can, and this is shown by the students dedication and commitment to their art.
