Spring Housing Charity Bike Ride

Spring Housing Association Ltd is a housing Charity. Our purpose is to go back to the original ethos of the social housing movement and work with those most in housing need.

Spring provides housing and support services across the Birmingham, Black Country, Staffordshire & Shropshire regions.

Our cause:
There are various ways in which people who have come to the UK find themselves without ‘recourse to public funds’, become destitute and therefore are in desperate need of accommodation and support.
In order to help Spring HA will need to provide shelter, food, and clothing. However that does not address the causes as to why the person became destitute. They will require advocacy and support including heath and legal services to ensure that that they remain safe whilst awaiting a decision.

Cost per person to house each year in Spring accommodation: £14,479.42. This figure is based on Crisis research for migrant destitution.
