Two mums, 5 kids, 1000’s of car miles, 100’s of skatepark trips, weekends away from our families & bucket loads of coffee.

After months of going through the same routine, finally the penny dropped and we realized that it would be amazing to have something like this in our area. After hours of research, emails & phone calls with some extremely talented people, we had enough information to start building our website, business plan and funding page. Hang5 Skatepark was officially registered on 8th June 2017 and we are in the process of becoming a Community Interest Company.

Our vision is to create a community where everyone is welcome, feels safe and thrives. We are passionate about inclusion, and building confidence, everyone deserves the chance to shine.

Louise's son Joshua is partially sighted and a Leukaemia survivor. Joshua has inspired us to ensure our Skatepark is accessible to everyone in the community.
