Mike and I went to a great fundraiser guitar concert in St Peter & Paul Fenstanton on Saturday night with Huntingdonshire Guitar Ensemble - a super way to celebrate all your generosity. We saw just how the Brown memorial has deteriorated including stone slab at an unsightly angle - but also met the Fenstanton CBF300 Ambassador site team - who are of course so proud of Capability. They are thrilled with the support and morale boost you all have given to the Capability Brown memorial fund. They are continuing the fundraising towards the £50,000 target so keep telling your friends and everyone you meet - so that expert restoration goes ahead as soon as possible. 'More than Genius slumbers here'. Many of you know the pleasure I have had exploring and photographing Capability's works. Your supportive generosity means so much - and we know Mr Brown will continue to inspire, uplift and give peaceful solace to thousands in the future. A HUGE & HAPPY THANK YOU EVERYONE !
