The post from the 'Friends of Sycamore Adventure' posted on their Facebook page on 13/04/2016:

'On Saturday somebody walked off with our donations bucket which had over £100 kindly donated by families that day. They had obviously been watching it and waited until staff were distracted. We rely on donations to survive, develop and to ultimately provide a place where children can be children. Stealing from an adventure playground is pretty desperate but really threatens our future. The police have been informed and are looking into the matter. If anyone was present and saw anything suspicious please make an anonymous call to the centre. We will be tightening our security from here on which is a real shame... We have never had reason not to be a trusting setting before now. Big thanks to everyone who comes and plays and supports sycamore adventure. ❤️'

If we could all just donate anything you can spare between us we can help the centre to replace the funds and ensure that the valuable service and provision they offer our local children isn't affected. Let's rally round and make something good come of something bad.
