Announcing the launch of a bike ride event from Jo Cox's Birstall and Spen constituency to the Houses of Parliament.

A distance of 260 miles over 5 days from 17th - 21st August

The organisers hope to :

• Highlight the great work that Jo Cox has undertaken during her life.
• Raise funds on route with all funds raised going to Jo’s charities.

The charities were chosen by Jo's family and friends and are:

• HOPE not Hate http://www.hopenothate.org.uk/

• The Royal Voluntary Service http://www.royalvoluntaryservice.org.uk/

• The White Helmets https://www.whitehelmets.org/

The ride is an opportunity for public participation, people can join in, ride alongside other riders and demonstrate their support for the principles that Jo Cox stood and campaigned for during her professional career and also as an MP.

We would love you to be involved, you can cycle the whole route, ride 1 mile or simply support the riders as they pass through your region. These are just some of the many ways that you can show your support.
