Hello – thanks so much for visiting my page!

In July, I along with a friend named Annie, will be on a mission to reach the top of the highest peak in Africa – Kilimanjaro. This will be an enormous personal challenge for me. But more than that, in the process we are hoping to raise lots of money for a small, but really important, charity – the Nasio Trust.

The Nasio Trust was founded in 2001 to support the destitute HIV orphans of Western Kenya; offering them all the things we take for granted, like food, education, clothes and healthcare. Their work started in a tiny shed by the side of the road, where they fed a small number of orphans. Now the trust has 2 purpose built centres that care for pre-school children, and also helps to support these children through school and in the years beyond.

I hope you agree that this is an amazing charity and one which is really worth supporting. If you do, I would really appreciate it if you would think about making a donation to the Trust. It doesn’t matter the size of the donation – every little bit really does help. And even better – every penny of your donation will go to this cause and not towards the cost of the actual trip. I also promise to update this page with exactly where your money will be going!
