    Story

Trax Ghana support smallholder farmers towards sustainable agricultural livelihoods. They achieve reduced poverty, increased food security, environmental restoration, improved rural infrastrucutre, empowerment, strong community structures, and grassroots development.
After 27 years of practice in Northern Ghana, supporting many thousands of farmers, Trax's funders are no longer able to fund their activities. Trax need funds to keep the NGO working while they seek other long-term funding options

I worked with Trax for my PhD and have seen first-hand the amazing and inspiring work they do. The farmers they have supported over the years can only say good things about Trax. Without doubt Trax have benefitted the lives of thousands of farmers and their families during the past 27 years. The scope of these benefits are amazing. I can't sit back and watch Trax stop supporting farmers just because the development funding system is failing. Read more here: www.rachaelctaylor.wordpress.com

The funds raised for Trax will mean field staff can continue to support farmers for much of 2016. Updates of field visits, farming activities, and successes will be available online throughout. You can see updates about the difference Trax are making to farmers on their website: traxghana.com and on my blog: rachaelctaylor.wordpress.com

100% of the funds raised will go to paying for Trax's project activities in 2016. This includes ensuring field staff can travel to communities to support farmers, facilitate training, and distribute resources. Trax have few overheads so they are able to achieve enormous benefits for farmers on money that would not go far if spent in the UK.
Trax is a registered charity in Ghana: Trax Program Support (Ghana) charity registration number: 37578

I am just finishing a PhD in which Trax's agricultural project is one of my case studies. I worked closely with Trax while in Ghana in 2014 and undertook an intership with them. The farmers Trax support daily are my research participants and are highly inspriational people.
