Story
When a child is diagnosed with type one diabetes they have a huge amount of information to take on board.Children who understand their condition and who take ownership of the management of their condition have the best chance of having good health outcomes for the rest of their lives. In today's high tech world we know that children respond well to information delivered using IT like in fun games. We aim to use this to help young children at Antrim hospital to learn about their diabetes and care

I am in a group with five other great volunteers who have been affected directly or indirectly by diabetes. We want to make life better for children and families coping daily with the condition. I have five great daughters, a husband who is going slowly mad at us women and a dog
