Story
We want Village Link to stay free of charge to residents and we want our advertising costs to stay low to local small businesses ... despite receiving some donations we still have a shortfall of £200 per edition, £1,200 per year.
As a team (all volunteers), we have considered many ways of cutting costs ... we could go 100% digital .... go 100% black & white .... reduce frequency ... change printers ... increase advertising rates ...
Before doing any of these things we want to ask YOU our readers if you can help out by making a voluntary donation. If just one in three of our 900 households donated £4, we would cover the shortfall for the year.
So please, help us keep this community resource going and support local businesses by keeping their costs low, DONATE TODAY!

8 years agoThank you to everyone who has supported us so far ... your donations small and large are really important to us. We are nearly halfway to our target with online donations, and some readers have sent in cheques as well. We will report on the total picture in the next issue of Village Link, but in the meantime, we are extending the campaign deadline til end September to maximise our chances of meeting our target!
