The tragic pictures of 3 year old Aylan lying lifeless on a Turkish beach brought home to us all the human reality of the grim refugee crisis. Aylan died along with his brother Galip and their mother Rehan while trying to flee the civil ware in Syria and seek refuge in Europe. Sadly this desperate situation has cost the lives of thousands of people who are trying to find a safe place to live in Europe. We want to raise money to provide support for refugees in both Calais and Birmingham.
