Junior Doctors are the backbone of the NHS

We have managed an amazing on-line and social media campaign to get our message out about the unsafe aspects of this contract but also the fact that this is the worst funding crisis the NHS has seen in the last 5 years.

Our message about the struggles of the NHS and those that work in it, is still not reaching everyone and many still get their main form of information from main stream media.

So we have taken a leaf out of good old fashioned election campaigning.

We have organised an army of doctors, unionists, supporters etc who are preparing to leaflet every major town and city in England. We aim to have posters up in the windows of homes and shops all over the country in support of us and the NHS.

The poster/leaflet is 2-sided, with one side stating the facts of the dispute and the issues with the NHS. The other side is poster for people to display in their windows stating, 'We Support OUR Junior Doctors, We Protect OUR NHS'.

Update: In total; 500,000 of these leaflets have gone out, through unions, hospitals, pickets, leafleting, police stations, fire stations, home and business. Even through the mayoral leafleting in London. Last week the postal union have said they were going to help.

Its a simple and powerful message.

Surveying the public, our biggest issue is getting our message out there to everyone.

If this goes well the plan is to continue with the distribution and send out more leaflets, and we will extend the funding.

This method of campaigning has worked fantastically for 'Save Lewisham Hospital' Campaign and will be great for our cause.
