I am a 48 year old mum of three who has worked hard all her life. My problems started 5 years ago when I was made redundant. During this period of unemployment, I used all my savings to keep up to date with the bills. 18 month later, once again redundancy struck, but this time without any redundancy money or savings, I had no option but the use credit cards to help get by and had to negotiate with the mortgage company to lower my payments. After 5 months I then got another job but after 18 months again, I was made redundant. I was unemployed for 6 months and my debt situation got worse and worse. I am now back unemployment and able to meet my daily commitments, but cannot clear the mortgage arrears or credit card payments. I have tried negotiating with both, but the net is now closing I on me. I fear I am going to have to go bankrupt in order to clear my debts, but that just feels like the easy way out. I want to pay my way and pay my debts but I need help, your help. Please please please help me to raise as much as possible towards clearing my debts . If anyone can possibly loan me the money, I would pay it back- every single penny. I can't get a loan due to bad credit. I do want to pay my way- I've set this page up just to try get help and for someone to take notice of my plight. I'm just a desperate mum who wants to keep the family home. The house has negative equity, so even if I'm forced to sell, it won't repay my debts and I will be worse off than I am now as renting will cost more than my mortgage. I know there are millions of more worthwhile causes than mine, but I have to try everything I can to keep my home and I know there are kind hearted and generous people out there so I have to hope that someone with the ability to help me will. I have been tweeting my page to celebs and been asked if I have no pride left. To you trolls- you can't make me feel any lower than I already do . Millions of pounds are raised every day for people in need, so I have to try.
