Story
We are heading out to northern France on the 11th Oct to build shelters in a refugee camps, warm, dry, social communal, spaces for people to use, not living accommodation. It's part of two aid groups in Bristol: "building support through shelter" and "Aid Box Convoy - Bristol to Refugees in Europe". We are making and fitting between 5 and 10 wood burning stoves into these spaces. Money we raise from this fundraiser will go towards materials to make these wood stoves and work on the shelters.

9 years agoWood stove production started today,CNC cut components got, steel collected, grinding discs bagged all ready for tomorrow when we start assembly at the Arcadia workshop,with help of Nicky Spice,Lukas Myland,Sam & Ryan from Arcadia, aiming to get as close to 10 made as pos by sat

9 years agoThanks again everyone, it's amazing to have your support with this. As said previously if we go over the target, money raised will get used for more materials to make more stoves or for other materials on the shelter building side of the project.

9 years agoThanks again everyone, amazing to see the support from you all for this project. I am increasing the amount we are hoping to raise as the material costs for the project are higher than anticipated, it was all put together in a bit of a hurry to get it rolling!!
